Locking solutions

When a solution is in production, you likely want to limit potential changes to the solution. When a solution is locked, you can publish new data, but you can not change how that data is created or displayed.

Can be changed when locked:

  • New data source releases can be created
  • Current data source release can be set
  • Insights can be created
  • Users can be added/removed
  • Solution can be published

Can not be changed when locked:

  • Solution can not be deleted
  • Solution title or subtitle, other top-level data
  • Tools can’t be created, deleted, or updated
  • Data source attributes and publisher transformations can’t be created, deleted or updated
